Under the railway arches was the base of Gee Cross Coaches. Here's a rare Allbion coach.Stalybridge, Hyde, Mossley and Dukinfield councils combined to run a tramway, with a depot in the former town.

Fortunately, the British Protection is well and truly open and is a good place to finish off our tour of the town.
