Leaving Haworth behind, we take the K&WVR to the next station, Oakworth, seen in Midland Railway and preservation days.
The preservationists have restored some lovely MR signals at Oakworth.
A passing loop has been installed at Damens, controlled by this signal box.
Ingrow soon follows, with the MR station in the foreground.
Ingrow is still served by the K&WVR.
The Great Northern Railway also had a station at Ingrow, with a loco shed, seen here in 1935.
Keighley's trams reached Ingrow in 1904.
Goose Eye Brewery was based in Ingrow in 2002, but has since moved.
We leap across country to the hamlet of Goose Eye, near the village of Laycock. Here we find the Turkey Inn, selling Goose Eye beers, of course.
Now we head for Keighley and, on our way in, encounter the Globe, next to the K&WVR - oh dear! It's no longer open now.
Not far away is Taylor's Brewery.
That's it for now. We'll look at more of Keighley in the next post. Meanwhile, follow the route here.
